Scuba Dive - Facilities
Frog Dive Scuba Centres are different to other dive stores, they are "One Jump Ahead" in scuba training because:
- We have the only two purpose built dive centres in Sydney with indoor heated diver training pools. The benefit to you is:
- All your video presentations and pool training is conducted in the one place, Frog Dive. No unnecessary travelling to local pools already overcrowded by pool patrons and hassles with parking.
- Our pool is designed for scuba training. You are introduced to the skills of scuba diving in the friendly 1.2m end, then develop competence in the 3m deep end. Remember, most swimming centre pools are only 1.8m deep, where you can’t even do proper ascent or descent training.
- Having our own pool allows us to schedule two days of pool training instead of ONE. This gives you the time to develop self confidence in the skills of scuba diving. We can also schedule in additional pool training periods if it is necessary.
- Trial dive gear available.
- Learning about scuba diving is easy. At Frog Dive you get your own Open Water Diver Manual to keep (most other places take them back). All classroom sessions are video presentations, with the Frog Dive Instructor there to explain any area that you are not sure about. Learning is actually a lot of fun.
- The first weekend of the programme is in the pool at Frog Dive. The second weekend is in the ocean where we put it all together. Over this weekend we complete FIVE open water training dives, instead of the minimum FOUR. This gives you that little bit extra time to become comfortable in the water.
- Now talking about comfort, we only use the latest model diving equipment, ensuring that it fits you correctly, so that you can enjoy your open water dives.
- Your Frog Dive course includes ALL the diving equipment you will need to complete the programme. Many other dive centres do not provide the mask, snorkel & fins, as we do at Frog Dive. We can also sell you quality sets at a special student price during the course.
6 Course numbers are important. We keep all our in-water training sessions to a class average of between 6 & 8 people. This then allows our training staff to provide you with competent training and skill development time with a personal touch.
- When breathing from our regulators, we will provide you with your very own mouthpiece. Mouthpieces are like toothbrushes, you don’t lend your toothbrush, so we don’t expect you to use someone else's mouthpiece.
- And for those of you that are still not completely sure as to whether you are really going to like scuba diving, why not try before you sign up. Come along one evening on a “Discover Scuba” session. It takes just two hours, costs $45.00, and lets you breath underwater. If you join us on a Frog Dive course after this, we will deduct the $45.00 off your course fee.
- The best dive club in Sydney.
So that’s why Frog Dive is “One Jump Ahead” of the rest in scuba training.
Testimonials
 | “Informative, inspiring, adventurous and fun. One of the best "assignments" I’ve undertaken! A thorough start to the world underwater, carried out with patience & professionalism. Heartily recommend.”

 | “For THE GREAT OUTDOORS it was essential that I have my dive certificate. I thought learning to dive was going to be a scary experience. Not with Frog Dive, the team are sensational and their facilities second to none. Being able to learn all your theory and practical skills on the same premises certainly made for an easy transition from classroom to the purpose-built dive pool. On the show, I get to travel to some of the most sensational dive spots on eart and now I can get there and enjoy it! I'm just kicking myself I didn't do it earlier. I cannot recommend Frog Dive highly enough!
