PADI Instructor Training
Congratulations on deciding to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. Becoming an Instructor is one of the most exciting times in your life and an experience you will never forget.
The PADI Instructor Development Course is designed to develop your instructional skills, not test them. This produces a low-stress environment that makes learning easier. Instructor candidates can relax and concentrate on skills development, knowing that making mistakes is part of the learning process. During this course, the staff plays the important role of supporting, guiding and advising instructor candidates. It is most important that you have a Course Director dedicated to full-time participation in the course. Also our Course Director, Peter Payne, lives on-site for the duration of the course, so if you have a question at any time, he is always there to answer it.
When you complete your IDC with Frog Dive Scuba Centres in Sydney, you will also enjoy the following additional benefits:
|   | | Onsite HEATED pool at the ID Centre. (no unnecessary travelling time, more doing) |
|   | | Training staff live-in providing a total coaching service after hours. |
|   | | Budget accommodation opposite ID Centre |
|   | | Any dive equipment required for the course, supplied at no extra charge |
|   | | Dedicated training rooms, separate from retail centre |
|   | | Nitrox facilities if required |
The IDC commences on a Friday evening and is conducted full-time until the following Friday. You can then elect to commence your Instructor Examination on that Friday evening finishing the Sunday afternoon. This then only requires you to take ONE week off work to complete both your IDC & IE.
Your IDC fee is $1850, which includes your workbook & PADI registration. IE $650.
