Boat Diving

Come and enjoy a Sydney boat dive aboard our rigid hull inflatable boat, Omega 2. This boat will provide you with a comfortable, but exciting ride to the dive site. Entry and exit is easy, you just roll off the side into the water.

Most dives are picked up from Balmoral Beach, where on your return you can enjoy a cappuccino or other refreshment. Omega 2 goes out every Friday, Saturday & Sunday for regular dives off North and South Heads, north off Long Reef to the wrecks and reefs, and as far south as Maroubra, where we dive the grey nurse sharks.

We have special boat dive rates for Frog Dive Team members, as well as a special hire/dive rate for new divers.

Boat Schedule

Frog Dive goes night diving every Tuesday night. In summer the dives start at 7:30pm & in winter 7:00pm. Boat night dives once a month too.

We dive all the popular night diving locations around Sydney. Remember night diving is fun, so the dives are easy. You will be surprised at what you do see at night, and also how much air you don't use.

It is amazing how a dive site can change from night to day. All the marine life comes out at night, and there they are captured in your torch beam, really exciting. We have a DM at the site to brief you, organise buddies and assist you into and out of the water.

Come and be a part of the most social diving day each month held in Sydney, the “Frog Dive Team Dive Day”.

No buddy, no worries, friends & family, bring them too, this is a real picnic day, and we do lunch for just $8 pp. It’s the best value meal you will get anywhere on a Sunday with heaps of company, a lot of fun, and maybe one of many memorable dives.

We shore dive starts at 10am and the boat runs for a special rate of $35 pp provided you are a Frog Dive Team member, others pay $40.
