Gday Froggies,

As predicted, last weekend was not suitable for diving. It is looking better than last week, over the next couple of days. Yes there will be a little bit of rain, but that should not stop anyone from getting wet. Best places to dive this weekend will be Shelly Beach at Manly and Inscription point, at Kurnell [not the steps or leap]. The swell will come from the south and Sunday would be my choice of days, for a shore dive.

Elliott will be conducting a shore dive on Saturday the 29th May. For those that wish to dive please call him on 0400322091. The site and time will be given as it gets closer to the day due to the weather conditions. For those of you that have dived with Elliott [one of our dive masters] before simply meet him at the site. We are trying something a little different, especially if you do not have your own gear, or are a new diver. At 8am on the 29th, we can meet you at the Guildford store, organise your hire gear, transport you and your hire gear to the dive site and then upon your return to the shop, we will organise an easy BBQ lunch upstairs. Booking is essential! Email luke@frogdive.com.au if you wish to come along. We want all those divers that have done their training and feel a little uneasy or lack a bit of confidence to attend. Buddy or no buddy……you will be taken care of!

Donna Rainey, from Apollo, is coming along to our dive day in June with a swag of drysuits for you all to try at no charge. We will meet at Bass Point, the main car park near the “gutter” and we will run a shore dive with an option to use a drysuit. Once again bookings are essential so that we make sure the sizes are available. If you wish to give these a go, please email luke@frogdive.com.au with your height and weight [if you have not already done so. More on this later.

We are displaying at the 2010 Sydney Boat show again this year, and we really need some volunteers to scuba dive in the portable heated dive tank. We will make sure that the chlorine levels are correct this year! We supply the hardware, and you only need to bring a mask and a wetsuit. We ask for a 2 hour period of each diver, and the water is heated to about 30 degrees. If you can organise some time over this period to help, would you please email john@frogdive.com.au and he will allocate a time suitable for you.

2 only to suit fella 185-195cm tall, and a weight of 90-110kg and shoe size of 10-11. First in best dressed, $899. This will not be repeated and is absolutely discriminating against all normal body shapes both male and female. To give you an idea of who would fit this suit, think of John Warner or Bob Taylor.
