Dive this Sunday, weather good!

Finally we are seeing some better weather coming through for this weekend. It was a good call to cancel the diving last weekend with the big swells. The water temperature is sitting at around 20 degrees this week, and the air temperature should get up to around 21 over the weekend.

If diving on the Adelaide wreck is something you wish to do then we have 8 positions on Saturday July 2, we managed to organise this recently and it will be first in best dressed.

It is all steam ahead for this weekend’s dive. With so many weekends being affected by the weather, it is nice to see an opportunity to get out and get wet. For the shore dive the brief will begin promptly at 9am. We can organise a buddy for you on the day, and we cater for all levels of diver. The boat dives will be going to Magic point to dive with the grey nurse sharks and there is space at 10.30am for 6 divers only, all the other times are booked solid. Please be aware that the departure times are8am, 10.30am and 1pm. Please call either store to pay for your boat dive if booked. If you are diving from the boat with the sharks please read the code of conduct by clicking on this link Link To PDF. Your food, drinks, salad and dessert will be organised for you……but please email luke@frogdive.com.au and let him know of your intentions to eat so that he can cater for the correct numbers. The cost is $15, unless you are a current team member, and the price is $8. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on, this will be a good days diving.

Port Stephens is a magical place to dive. A short 3.5 hours drive north of Sydney will see you stay in comfortable accommodation and do 4 boat dives with Feet First. We will travel to the beautiful Broughton island and dive the Looking glass, see the photo above. Your air fills are also supplied, and we are taking bookings for this trip now. If you want more from your scuba diving, then organise to come along on a Frog dive weekend away, and this trip is perfect for any level of scuba diver. The cost is $345 / $325 team members.

BOAT SHOW – last weekend in July

Every year we venture to Darling Harbor and display at the Sydney Boat Show. This an enormous undertaking by everyone involved, and we really need your help to make it work. We have a scuba diving tank full of water and heated, where we need volunteer divers to sit in and engage the public walking by. To be honest, they all stop and stare anyways!! If you can find some time to help us by diving in the tank please email john@frogdive.com.au and book a time. Thank you…….

If you have been thinking about attending this day to give a drysuit a go, then get on the phone and call either store soon. We have already taken quite a few bookings, and we need your height and weight measurements to schedule at time to dive in these warm suits. Why a drysuit? How many of you are never warm when you dive? You continually add material to your suit, or buy new suits only to find that you are still cold. Ladies especially! Dive all year round with a drysuit, you only change what you wear underneath the suit to keep you warm. This day will run in conjunction with the team day, and we will be going to the sharks with the dive boat.
