Sharks, seals, easy shore dives

Bon voyage John Warner and crew, as they make their way up to Cairns to dive from Mike Ball’s Spoilsport. We hope they see plenty of minke whales during the course of the trip, and from the weather reports they should have relatively smooth seas.

We still need your best photos and small mpeg videos of your dives in NSW for our new website, so when you can please bring them into either store on a flash drive and we will have them attached to the site descriptions.

If you are unable to make the team dive on Sunday, we will have a simple shore dive at Shelly on Saturday. You can meet at the Willoughby store at 9am, or down at the site at 10am. Please contact Dennis on 99585699 to confirm your attendance beforehand.

TEAM DIVE SUNDAY – LONG BAY [Fishermans road]

We are briefing the site for the shore dive at 9am. Long bay is a very simple shore dive, great for beginners. The boat dives are just about full with space only left on the 12 noon dive. The wind will be from the west all day, so fingers crossed the dives will be great. For those of you booked on the drysuit trial day, we have attached the schedule above again. If you are interested in actually organising your own drysuit, the one on trial retails at $1795…..but we will have a special offer on the day. Please email if you intend to eat!

We thought we should list the available dates to dive the wreck of the Adelaide. There are limited spots on some of these dates and a lot on others, so call us to see how many we can accommodate.

JULY- 23rd, and the 30th

AUGUST- 6th, 20th and 27th

We have attached the general information sheet to the top of the email, to give you some idea of what is expected. The cost is $140 for a double dive.

Rotten Ron Hunter from Forster Fishermans wharf has a great new attraction at one of his dive sites. Rotten Ron feeds the fish and manages to bring species like snapper up from the bottom to about 15mtrs using burley. The fish now expect a feed every time divers turnup, and other species such as kingfish also get in on the action. Check out this video…

…to see what actually goes on and the grey nurse sharks are still there! 2 night’s accommodation, 4 boat dives, air fills and your second tank is supplied. Cost $345 / $325 team members.

Our next weekend away to the beautiful Jervis Bay is booked for the 17th and 18th September. Why drive south for 2.5 hours…..well it is only a relatively short drive, the accommodation for both nights is comfortable, you get 4 great boat dives with your second dive tank included……and you get to dive with seals!! Imagine showing footage and photos of these inquisitive creatures to friends and family. Open this link to view actual footage of a typical weekends diving in Jervis Bay.

Call either store now to book.
