A starter kit covers the speargun, mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, weight belt, float and flag, knife and gloves. A competent first kit costs less than the listicle SERPs suggest. We have kitted out Sydney spearos since 1985, with the in-store team at Gladesville pulling together starter sets, partnering on hard-to-find components through Spearfishing Australia, and pointing newer spearos toward the Spearfishing Workshop as the training step.
