Meet Megan, a Dive Instructor at Frog Dive. Here’s what she has to say about herself.
“You can call me ‘Megs’. I have heard the call of the sea for as long as I can remember, from playing ‘mermaids’ in an above-ground backyard pool growing up in Indiana, to now living in Sydney with some of the best sailing and diving in the world on my doorstep – how did I get so lucky!
It all started whilst living in Hong Kong and on a holiday to Thailand, where I had a ‘Discover Scuba Diving’ experience. It was love at first dive and I was hooked. I booked onto an Open Water Diver course as soon as I got home and was certified in the Philippines a month later.
Fast forward, I have now been living in Sydney for several years and have enjoyed superb diving all along NSW’s coast as well as our national treasure, the Great Barrier Reef. I have been fortunate to have outstanding dive mentors both here and across Asia supporting my professional journey, and what I now enjoy most is bringing new divers to the sea.
So, if you want to talk about sharks, night dives, waterproof mascara, Asia, liveaboards, buoyancy tips - well, you can ask me anything, because I love sharing this big wonderful world of scuba diving.”
