A full-size Shearwater computer you can grow into
Perdix 3 gives you a brighter AMOLED screen, titanium hardware, air integration and technical dive modes without losing the simple Shearwater layout divers trust.
Choose the computer only, add the SWIFT AI transmitter for tank pressure, or add the GPS transmitter if you want entry and exit location data in your dive log.
One dive computer for where your diving is heading
The Perdix 3 is built for divers who want a clear, full-size computer today and enough capability for more advanced training later. It is practical for local recreational diving, but it also has the modes, log capacity and air integration support expected from a serious Shearwater computer.
Why Perdix 3 matters
The major visual change is the screen. Perdix 3 uses a bright AMOLED display that makes dive information easier to check quickly, especially when task loading increases.
The housing keeps the rugged Shearwater approach, with a titanium bezel, titanium piezo-electric buttons and a 260 metre depth rating. It also stays practical, using a single AA battery that can be replaced by the diver.
High visibility AMOLED
A full-colour display designed to make key dive data easier to read in real conditions.
Titanium hardware
A titanium bezel and titanium piezo-electric buttons help protect the electronics inside.
Up to four transmitters
Add tank pressure data now, or expand later as your dive setup becomes more advanced.
User replaceable AA
Carry a spare AA battery and keep your dive trip moving without a charging cable.
Which Perdix 3 setup should you buy?
The best option depends on whether you want the computer only, tank pressure on screen, or GPS-supported location data for your dive log.
Computer only
Best if you already own a compatible transmitter, or if you want to add air integration later.
With SWIFT AI transmitter
Best if you want wireless tank pressure data on your Perdix 3 display during the dive.
With GPS transmitter
Best if you want air integration plus entry and exit location capture for your dive log. GPS does not work underwater.
For recreational, technical and future technical divers
The Perdix 3 is not just a premium recreational computer. It supports everyday recreational diving, multi-gas nitrox, open circuit technical diving, closed circuit bailout, gauge mode and freediving.
That matters if you are buying once and planning ahead. A diver using it for simple nitrox dives today can keep the same computer as training and dive planning become more advanced.
| Mode | What it suits |
|---|---|
| Air and Nitrox | Everyday recreational diving and nitrox trips. |
| 3 Gas Nitrox | Divers building towards more advanced gas planning. |
| OC Tec | Open circuit trimix and decompression diving. |
| CC/BO | Closed circuit fixed PPO2 and bailout support. |
| Gauge and Freediving | Bottom timer use, logging, apnea sessions and training flexibility. |
| Avelo | Avelo mode with unlock code, where relevant to your training and equipment. |

Common questions before ordering
These answers reduce hesitation around transmitters, GPS and whether this is too much computer for a recreational diver.
Is the Perdix 3 suitable as a first serious dive computer?
Yes, if you want a premium computer you can grow into. It is simple enough for recreational diving but has the modes and air integration needed for more advanced diving later.
Should I buy it with a transmitter?
Choose the computer only if you do not need wireless tank pressure now. Choose the SWIFT AI transmitter if you want tank pressure on the computer. Choose the GPS transmitter if you also want entry and exit location data in your dive log.
Does the GPS transmitter work underwater?
No. GPS does not work underwater. The benefit is recording the entry and exit location when the transmitter has access to satellite positioning at the surface.
When will Frog Dive have stock?
Frog Dive currently lists the Perdix 3 as available at the end of June and has stated that it has secured the first units in Australia.
