Perdix 3 gives you a brighter AMOLED screen, titanium hardware, air integration and technical dive modes without losing the simple Shearwater layout divers trust.

One dive computer for where your diving is heading

The Perdix 3 is built for divers who want a clear, full-size computer today and enough capability for more advanced training later. It is practical for local recreational diving, but it also has the modes, log capacity and air integration support expected from a serious Shearwater computer.

Why Perdix 3 matters

The major visual change is the screen. Perdix 3 uses a bright AMOLED display that makes dive information easier to check quickly, especially when task loading increases.

The housing keeps the rugged Shearwater approach, with a titanium bezel, titanium piezo-electric buttons and a 260 metre depth rating. It also stays practical, using a single AA battery that can be replaced by the diver.

Common questions before ordering

These answers reduce hesitation around transmitters, GPS and whether this is too much computer for a recreational diver.

Is the Perdix 3 suitable as a first serious dive computer?

Yes, if you want a premium computer you can grow into. It is simple enough for recreational diving but has the modes and air integration needed for more advanced diving later.

Should I buy it with a transmitter?

Choose the computer only if you do not need wireless tank pressure now. Choose the SWIFT AI transmitter if you want tank pressure on the computer. Choose the GPS transmitter if you also want entry and exit location data in your dive log.

Does the GPS transmitter work underwater?

No. GPS does not work underwater. The benefit is recording the entry and exit location when the transmitter has access to satellite positioning at the surface.

When will Frog Dive have stock?

Frog Dive currently lists the Perdix 3 as available at the end of June and has stated that it has secured the first units in Australia.

Not sure which transmitter option to choose?
