Bula and welcome from Fiji

Last week we had the opportunity to visit the spectacular Beqa Lagoon Resort to experience some fantastic coral reef diving and their world famous tiger shark dives. We were even lucky enough to be greeted on our boat ride to the resort by a pod of humpback whales.
Fiji is home to some of the world's best soft coral, and the sites certainly don't disappoint. However we came for the sharks and boy did we get them. Diving down to the cathedral arena and seeing 3 big tiger sharks cruising through the swarm of bull, lemon and nurse sharks is now firmly in my top 3 diving moments of my life. I huge shout-out to the amazing team at Beqa Lagoon Resort who are the only operation that exclusively feed just the tigers. And the operation is only expanding, as we got to be the very first resort guest divers to try out their brand new 2nd feeding site Apex. An unexpected delight and a great dive that I can see being a fabulous addition to the resort.
And praise can't be forgotten to the brilliant staff of the hotel who provided a wonderfully relaxing environment to come back to after the dives. Fun inclusive afternoon activities everyday and the massages at the spa were to die for. Dining times were fairly short but it never mattered because the staff was extremely prompt and fast to get your food out to you and every meal was delicious.
All in all a spectacular trip and definitely one to add to your bucket list
